RESUMEN
Pese la diversidad de temáticas tratadas por la antropología, el parentesco sigue siendo una de las cuestiones más estudiadas por la disciplina. El auge de nuevos modelos de familia ha favorecido el interés de los antropólogos por conocer y comprender las alternativas a los modelos tradicionales como son, por ejemplo, los casos de las madres solteras o la homoparentalidad. No obstante, la bibliografía resulta más escasa en lo referente a la paternidad de personas seropositivas. Hasta hace relativamente poco, una persona VIH positiva veía muy complicada la posibilidad de tener descendencia sanguínea. El nuevo paradigma científico de la indetectabilidad ha permitido sortear esta dificultad, motivando este estudio de caso con la pretensión de acercarse al parentesco desde una persona seropositiva.
Conjuncture, family and kinship living with HIV
ABSTRACT
Despite the diversity of topics treated by anthropology, kinship continues to be one of the most studied issues in the discipline. The rise of new family models has favored the interest of anthropologists in knowing and un derstanding alternatives to traditional models such as, for example, the cases of single mothers or homoparen ting. However, the literature is scarcer regarding the parenthood of HIV-positive people. Until relatively recently, an HIV-positive person found the possibility of having blood offspring very complicated. The new scientific paradigm of undetectability has made it possible to overcome this difficulty, motivating this case study with the aim of approaching the relationship from an HIV-positive person.
